Where to find favorites on windows 7

I wanted to copy my favourites links from another machine onto a newly installed Windows 7 machine, but the system won't let me paste them into the Favourites folder showing at the top of Windows Explorer.

From there, you can right-click on the file, copy it and save it to a flash drive in case your computer crashes, you will have all of your favorites. If you have to buy a new computer or have to do a clean install of the operating system, you can go to your new computer's favorites and transfer your old favorites to it.
